Using one of the earliest techniques of pinching and turning a ball of clay, Tara of Dame Errant Clay will show you how to create a pair of miniature dishes making the perfect pairing for your at home charcuterie boards. Or if you prefer, you can also choose to make one larger dish. Enjoy the wondrous refreshment of sangria, as you roll, shape and mold your clay.
You will use your hands to transform a ball of clay, as well as have the opportunity to add texture, sweet words or embellishments. When you are finished forming your clay, you will choose a glaze option and leave your piece to be fired at the Dame Errant studio. After a few weeks, pieces will be available for pick up at the Hewing.
Working with clay can be an amazing way to get out of our heads and by connecting with our creative we are practicing self care.
