Wine Dinner featuring Hopler Wines from Austria
March 12 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm$90
Join us for a very special wine dinner featuring Hopler wines from Austria paired with 5 courses of tantalizing dishes prepared by Tullibee’s new Executive Chef Nyle Flynn.
The Hopler Winery is famous for making the house wines for the Trapp Family Lodge of ‘The Sound of Music” fame and they are fortunate to count the Vienna State Opera Ball, Chef Jamie Oliver, Chef Thomas Keller, Chef Bobby Flay, and Chef Gordon Ramsay among some of their notable customers.
Christof Hopler will be on hand to talk about the wine and the winery that has been in his family for ages; he is the second generation to run the winery and is the current owner and winemaker. It is located south east of Vienna in Burgenland, with the vineyards lying in the Leithaberg Hills on the shores of Lake Neusiedl. This unique location enables them to produce a wide range of wines; 55% white wine, 40% red and 5% dessert wine.
Hoepler wines have a clear signature. They tend to be delicate, elegant and high in minerality. They are excellent to drink on their own, but versatile when it comes to food and wine pairing.
This evening, you will be treated to 5 food courses expertly paired with Hopler wines – 4 savory and 1 sweet (paired with ice wine).
Seating is limited, so head over to Eventbrite to get your tickets now, and join us for an unforgettable evening!
